Henry gets stoned in Gloucester

A day out in Gloucester, this time at the Folk which is down at the bottom of Westgate. Worth a visit. A demonstration of stone carving by enthusiast Jim Pentney. He let me have a go at carving out a version of Henry Mouse, the character from mine and Andy Harden’s books of the same name.

I’m hooked now and can’t wait to have another go next week.

The Henry books are now available on Amazon from here

    1. It was! I’m hoping to go along next week to do some more on him! Won’t be able to bring him home as there’s a carving of Bishop Hooper on the reverse, so he’s in good company. Will take more pics then. Hope all ok with you

      1. yes, all good here. Finished invigilating for a couple of weeks but being sent to Bourton on the Water for two weeks in reception (the wheels on the bus go round and round). Gardening and working on Rudolph later. But not at the same time!
